“Fearless & Fabulous” Issue with Adaa Khan
EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW WITH ADAA KHAN
1. What is your personal notion of beauty? Each person has a unique beauty that shouldn't be changed. As the saying goes, "Beauty lies in the eye of the beholder!" Because different people may have different ideas of what defines beauty and attractiveness. Not only is it disrespectful, but it also gives women the impression that they must be extremely skinny to be desirable. I have never felt the need to make any changes. Women are not beautiful because of the things they wear, the shape they have, or the way they style themselves. A woman's eyes reveal her true beauty since they are the window to her heart, the seat of love. True beauty in a woman is reflected in her soul. 2.There's a lot of conversation about skin care regimes these days, do you also follow any particular regime? I consume a lot of water in a day, and always drink green tea. I also use milk cream on my face to wash it. Before going to sleep I wash my face with a gentle face wash and apply moisturizer. I remove my make-up with a good cleanser. I scrub my face often. I do not travel without my moisturizer. I also use green tea bags for my eyes. 3. What are your favourite style hacks from contemporary fashion trends? It's not necessary to separate being environmentally conscious from being stylish. Depending on whether I want to look really casual or dressed up, I'll pair them with the ideal outfit. I'd like to offer you just a little fashion tip. It's alright to treasure those regular finds that have served as wardrobe basics for a while; just keep in mind to dress them up this time with a little something extra. I don't like to go overboard with anything, whether it's my hair, my makeup, or how I dress. I dress and apply my hair and makeup in accordance with the occasion. I prefer it to be simple but elegant and classy. 4.Do you think one should dress to impress? I do try to look good for myself. Being well-dressed increases your self-esteem and brings out your inner happiness. There is nothing wrong with dressing up to make an impression on others or on oneself because, we need to keep up our appearance in the eyes of the people we live with. As an actress, I know that in today's society, people criticise us based on our appearance, what we wear, and other factors. Your mannerisms and personal appearance will make the first impression. Everyone wants to appear attractive and intelligent in front of others. 5.What do you think is the role of diet and nutrition for a healthy body? As an actress, I believe it's crucial to look presentable in front of the camera, therefore in addition to exercise, healthy eating and enough sleep are also crucial. You need to include fitness into your life if you want to be happy. Happy people lead healthy lives. You must push yourself outside your comfort zone because you will be able to do more than you expected. To have a healthy physique, it is crucial to eat properly. Although I don't diet, I always include a non-vegetarian dish in my home-cooked meals. I consume relatively little of everything, but I do so in proportion. 6.How do you think notions of body positivity can help today's generation to accept their body types? Well i really feel that Most importantly be yourself, be original , be confident and always look into the eye and smile. So that's one thing I always do. Whatever I wear, I'm always confident. 7.What's next on the work front? I believe in Destiny. Whatever good show comes my way, I'll grab that and definitely going to get better as an actor and see myself improving, learning. This is a process and you need to grow as an actor, human throughout your life. So I always want to keep the career graph going up and get more and more love, from everyone and keep entertaining everyone with my different roles and performances. 8.What is your favourite place to travel to? I'm an introvert but travelling has changed me and has helped me to open up to people. Me exploring new places and cultures is not unknown to anyone. I always love being amid nature. This is the biggest escape for me. If I don't travel, I start feeling low. I'm a mountain person. Kashmir is the first love of every Indian. The beauty of Kashmir matches Heaven.
